November 3, 2011 - Inauguration of the new high voltage test hall at STRI
The inauguration of an additional high voltage test hall in Ludvika at STRI was effected with speech of Dan Wikström and the chairman of the board of STRI Johan Söderström. Nice flower arrangements were delivered from Samarkand and ABB. The fantastic development in the world of transmission of energy at long distances at higher voltages as UHVDC and UHVAC was presented of Dan. Johan Söderström congratulated to the eminent development and highlighted the importance of the necessity to know testing of high voltage equipment for the future electrical system. Johan open the new test hall with a light show at the test equipment. The celebration was realized together with coffee and decorated cakes.
