STRI Consulting services covers most aspects of high voltage engineering and can be combined with our software and testing services when needed. This gives us a unique strength to work both theoretically and practically from a component to the complete system.
This may involve R&D projects and application of new technology, design, system and reliability studies, optimizing operation, investigating failures, measure power quality, live line maintenance, specification and verification of IEC 61850, web based monitoring and diagnostics.
Many of our projects are done together with several customers having the same interest and sharing experience from different countries. And we always take the environment into account – in both directions – optimizing solutions for maximum performance during severe conditions, e.g. salt and ice but also optimizing solutions to minimize the impact on the environment.
STRI experienced experts may assist you with the implementation of compact solutions for lines, cables and substations, feasibility and comparative studies for efficient HVAC and HVDC systems, integration of wind power and DER. This may be focused on one specific technology area below or as Management Consulting assist with more holistic strategies for implementation of new sustainable solutions including Smart Grids.
